Handcrafted in Germany by luthier Jozsi Lak, each guitar is a built-to-order instrument using the finest affordable woods available. As a result, each instrument is not only stunning in appearance but also amazing in sound.

Jozsi & I have designed these guitars with my favorite specifications, personal wishes & preferences in mind. So, even though the foundation of all GypsyGuitarAcademy Signature Guitars is the same, every guitar is a unique handcrafted piece by itself. Simply request a guitar by filling out the form. Joszi Lak will contact you within 3-4 business days and send you an invoice for the first deposit (500€). After confirmation of your order, your guitar will be scheduled for production. When your guitar is ready for shipment, your 2nd and final payment will be charged.
After confirming your order, ″Jozsi Lak Guitars″ plans a regular construction & delivery time of about 6-8 months. Depending on the production capacity, this time may be more or less than the above. For the most up to date schedule please send us an e-mail. Delivery will be made by DHL, UPS or Fedex. It is also possible to pick up the guitar at his workshop in Weilburg (Germany - about 1 hour′s drive from Frankfurt/Main).
Jozsi has a limited capacity at his workshop. Therefore, after confirming your order with your first deposit, we will put your request on the waiting list.
The guitars are shipped from Germany by "Jozsi Lak Guitars". Depending on where you live, you might have to pay an import fee or tax, according to your local laws . This differs from country to country. Please inform yourself about possible fees and taxes.

You will receive a contract from "Jozsi Lak Guitars". The GypsyGuitarAcademy is only an intermediary and not your contractual partner. If you have questions during the guitar building process, please contact Jossi Lak directly. The production of this guitar is authorized & licensed by Joscho Stephan & the GypsyGuitarAcademy.
Jozsi (the luthier) is based in Germany, for this reason he will charge you in Euros. Depending on the daily exchange rate, the price in dollars is always different. There are a lot of websites that will give you the daily rate. Currently (March 2023) the base model (1800€) costs 1930$ + shipping + import fee or tax (for customers outside Europe - according to your local laws). The exchange rate is subject to change daily. Please note that your 2nd and final payment will be charged before the guitar will be shipped.
Two payments are required. 1st.: Down payment - 500€. After this payment has been made the guitar will be planned for production. 2nd: Final payment - the remaining amount. Your guitar is ready and after this payment it will be shipped. For each payment you will receive an invoice by email, and you can pay by bank transfer or paypal.
Everything is made from solid wood!

Our goal is to offer a fantastic hand crafted guitar, so already during the first serial production in Q2 2023 (the guitar you see in the promotion video was our pre-serial model), we ran into different supply chain problems that were not obvious in March 2023 when we released the guitar model! As in many other parts of the economy, we also had the challenge of some price explosions at our suppliers. Furthermore, we are still using the same wood but with an improved texture and enhanced the design by changing the binding under the fretboard. All of this finally led to a refined guitar and we could not be happier with the result!Because of this reason, we have to introduce an updated price for the guitar that will go along with the improvements and general market and supply factors. #1 Handcrafted Guitar with soft case = 2150 € (new price) #2 Handcrafted Guitar with hard case & pick-up = 2450 € (new price) We appreciate your trust in us and hope the new pricing information won’t change your mind.
